The Cornel West theory looks at America through a dystopian lens in their debut album Second Rome. The band produces a sound collage that starts from the birth of the nation and travels somewhere into the future around 2025. They search for light in the darkness that surrounds, in each song asking questions to provoke dialogue. How do we survive in this place? How do we find freedom? How do we find love?
